The egg has finally hatched!

Remember that little flock of funny birds I hinted at recently?

Well... the first one has finally broken free from its shell! Meet Cheeky Chicken, the very first member of the Funny Birds Collection.

With its oversized eyes, fluffy feathers and cheeky expression, this little chicken is bursting with personality. This pattern was designed to be fun, playful and packed with personality. From the cracked eggshell to the tiny wings and cheeky expression, every detail was created to bring a smile to your face.

Whether you're making it for yourself, as a gift, or simply because you can't resist adorable birds, Cheeky Chicken is a joyful project to crochet.

The First Bird of Many

Cheeky Chicken is only the beginning. More quirky birds are already waiting in the wings, ready to join the flock in the coming months. Each one will have its own unique personality, funny features and unmistakable Funny Birds charm.

They are made using a crochet pattern by @grethawings on Instagram and I learned a lot by following this pattern. I love the pink, grey and white combination of this couple.
